PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assisting device that is able to display an optimum guide line even in a case where a commercially-available back camera is attached to an arbitrary part of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive assisting device comprises: an image data memory 2 that stores a series of guide lines so as to correspond to a place where a back camera is attached, the series of guide lines corresponding to steering angles; a first processor 3 that separately outputs complete-image information together with an image-screen control signal, the complete-image information being created by superposing a guide line, read from the image data memory 2, on rear-image information extracted from a compound signal SG including rear-image information and an image screen control signal; a second processor 4 that outputs a compound signal to a display device 50, the compound signal being composed of the complete-image information received from the first processor 3 and an image control signal; and a management computer 1 that receives CAN data from an ECU and composed so as to be able to control the first processor 3 and the second processor 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
