PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer for a multi-stage burner combustor arrangement comprising a mixing section for admixing a dilution air between a first combustion chamber and a second burner.SOLUTION: A two-stage combustor arrangement includes a first burner, a first combustion chamber, a mixer arrangement for admixing a dilution air to hot gases leaving the first combustion chamber during operation, a second burner, and a second combustion chamber. The mixer guides combustion gases into a hot gas flow path. The second burner includes a duct having an inlet at an upstream end connected to the first combustion chamber and an outlet at a downstream end connected to the second burner. The mixer includes at least one group of injection pipes 114 extending inwards from the side walls of the mixer for admixing the mixed air to cool the flue gases. The injection pipes 114 are distributed circumferentially along the side wall of the mixer, and have a conical or quasi-conical shape addressed to the center of the mixer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
