PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED power source which suppresses or prevents a rush current in an LED in the case of connection switching among a plurality of LEDs which are connected to a DC power supply circuit.SOLUTION: An LED power source (100) includes: a DC power supply circuit (300) which has a capacitor (9, 35) connected to an output terminal and outputs a DC current; a discharge circuit (400) which is connected in parallel to the capacitor; a switching circuit (500) which is configured in such a manner that, in a first state, a first LED (71) having a first forward voltage forms a closed circuit with the output terminal of the DC power supply circuit, and a second LED (72) having a second forward voltage lower than the first forward voltage forms an open circuit with the output terminal of the DC power supply circuit, and in a second state, at least the second LED forms a closed circuit with the output terminal of the DC power supply circuit; and a control circuit (600) for securing a standby period in which the first and second LEDs are not electrified with a DC current while switching from the first connection state to the second connection state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
