PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional solid oxide fuel cell that it is required to up-size a cathode gas supply device for ensuring a sufficient cooling function, and thereby the system efficiency lowers.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell C includes a single cell 1, a separator 2 bonded to a single cell so as to face a fuel electrode layer 1B, a gas guide member 3 interposed between the single cell 1 and separator 2, and forming a gas flow path F from an anode gas introduction part 3A to discharge part 3B, and endothermic reaction promotion means 5, 7 arranged in gas flow path F and suppressing temperature rise incident to power generation. Endothermic reaction is produced in the anode gas flow path F by the endothermic reaction promotion means, heat generation incident to power generation is suppressed, and significant increase in the cathode gas is eliminated during heavy load operation, thus simplifying the system configuration and maintaining system efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
