PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmitter and a radio receiver, capable of shorten synchronization standby time.SOLUTION: A radio transmitter according to an embodiment includes a plurality of antennas and a radio signal generation part. The radio signal generation part converts a broadcast transport stream into a plurality of streams, generates a plurality of radio signals corresponding to the plurality of streams, and performs space multiplexing of the plurality of radio signals by supplying the plurality of radio signals to the plurality of antennas, respectively. The radio signal generation part inserts synchronization signals for frame synchronization of the broadcast transport stream into each of the plurality of radio signals so that the synchronization signals are located at positions on temporal axis which are different among the plurality of radio signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
