PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat progenitor cell proliferation inhibitory action-exhibiting carotenoid derivative.SOLUTION: Provided is a fat progenitor cell proliferation inhibitory action-exhibiting carotenoid derivative; a carotenoid derivative is a derivative in which adenine and histidine are bound to carotenoid; a production method thereof comprises a step of protease-treating a fermentation liquid fermented by adding a Bacillus natto of NattoHonpo-made and a Monascus fungus of BenikoujiHonpo-made to a powder of Antarctic krill (euphausia superba) and soybean; a carotenoid derivative exhibits an excellent fat progenitor cell proliferation inhibitory action, and is utilized in cosmetic, food preparation and pharmaceutical preparation; and especially, when utilized in cosmetic, it is utilized in a cosmetic that is excellent in sebum decomposition, skin moisture retention capability and skin elasticity.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
