PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster protective member or the like capable of reducing destruction of a caster body caused by its collision with an obstacle present in its projecting state from the traveling surface of a caster (wheel), or a part or a peripheral part of a recess present in its recessing state from the traveling surface of the caster during traveling of the caster.SOLUTION: A caster protective member 1 is a protective member fitted to a caster body 30 for rotatably supporting a pair of wheels at a position shifted from an axis to be used, and includes a member having a bottom projecting part 12 of a shape projected from a bottom surface part 65 of the caster body to a position more forward in a traveling direction than a traveling-time tip of the wheel of the bottom surface part, and a rising part 14 of a shape continuously rising from the traveling-time tip of the wheel of the bottom projecting part to a position facing at least the lower part of a traveling-time front part of the wheel of the caster body, and at least the bottom projecting part is detachably fixed to the bottom surface part of the caster body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
