PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring device which can bore a hole straight in a predetermined position while preventing the scattering of foam plastic waste when the foam plastic packed in a joint gap of a structure is removed.SOLUTION: A boring device 10 for boring a hole 6 in a foam plastic 5 packed in a joint gap 4 of a structure 1 comprises a shaft 11, a drill 12 fixed to one end of the shaft 11 and rotating integrally with the shaft 11, and a pipe 13 which is externally fitted over the shaft 11 and the drill 12 in a state that one end side of the shaft 11 and the part of the maximum diameter of the drill 12 are covered while the tip part 12e of the drill 12 is exposed and which is fixed to the shaft 11 and rotates integrally with the shaft 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
