PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid aptamer that specifically recognizes a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and has a binding property thereto.SOLUTION: A VEGF binder comprises a nucleic acid aptamer comprising a residue of a modified nucleic acid of formula (I).
