PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power plant frame structure of an automobile which can secure an occupant residential space, in particular, a foot space, and can improve assembling performance by allowing the post-attachment of a frame part.SOLUTION: The power plant frame structure of an automobile comprises: a power plant 25 which is mounted to a front part of a vehicle body; a rear differential device 40 which distributes drive forces to left and right rear wheels 38; a propeller shaft 44 which is arranged below a floor tunnel part 5, and connects the power plant 25 and the rear differential device 40 so as to be capable of transmitting the drive forces; and a power plant frame 50 which connects a housing 49 of the power plant 25 and a housing 46 of the rear differential device 40. The power plant frame 50 is constituted of a torque tube part 51 having a cylindrical front part, and allowing the penetration of the propeller shaft therein, and a frame part 52 having an opened rear part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
