PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inadequate photographing with light emission from being performed.SOLUTION: An imaging system comprises an illumination device and an imaging device. The illumination device includes: a light emission part; a movable part having the light emission part and being rotatably held with respect to a main unit; driving means for driving the movable part; calculation means for calculating a radiation direction of the light emission part; and transmission means for transmitting, to the imaging device, information regarding a charging voltage of a capacitor storing energy for allowing the light emission part to emit light. When the movable part is driven by the driving means to calculate a radiation direction by the calculation means, the transmission means transmits, to the imaging device, information indicating that the charging voltage of the capacitor is less than a predetermined value even if the charging voltage of the capacitor is the predetermined value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
