PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing fast fluctuation of an imaging parameter in a portion where a frame is thinned, when recording a captured moving image while thinning the frame in the portion of the moving image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for capturing a moving image; control means for controlling an imaging parameter of the moving image on the basis of a state of a subject while capturing the moving image; and recording means for recording the moving image, the recording means being configured to perform the recording while thinning a part of captured frames regarding a portion that is captured for a predetermined period, in the moving image. During the predetermined period, the control means makes a followup speed of the imaging parameter relative to a state change of the subject lower than that during any period other than the predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
