PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress up-sizing of a dynamo-electric machine even when a contraction fastening structure, e.g., shrink fit, is employed as a fixing and installation method of a stator to the inner peripheral surface of the housing.SOLUTION: A front cover 3 and a rear cover 5 are fixed to the opposite axial ends of a cylindrical housing 1. To the inner peripheral surface of the housing 1, a stator core 23 is fixed by a contraction fastening structure, e.g., shrink fit. An oil pan 35 is formed at a lower part of the housing 1 by covering the bottom opening 1b thereof with a cover 37. Oil discharged from a pump 31 flows out through an oil path in a rotor shaft 7 and a rotor core 17 to a motor chamber 33, thus cooling respective sections. The oil in the motor chamber 33 is discharged through a plurality of interconnection holes 3p, 3q and 5r, 5s provided at the lower part of the front cover 3 and rear cover 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
