PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid construction machine capable of rapidly warming up a power storage device without causing troubles in an engine.SOLUTION: A hybrid construction machine of this invention includes a hydraulic pump 17 driven by an engine 11, an inverter 15 for controlling operation of a motor generator 14, a power storage device 16 supplying and receiving electric power to and from the inverter 15, a temperature measuring section 16C1 for measuring a temperature of the power storage device 16, and a hybrid controller 22 for charging and discharging the power storage device 16 and performing warming-up operation based on the temperature measured by the temperature measuring section 16C1. The hybrid controller 22 includes an operation determination section 22C1 for determining whether a vehicle body is operated or not based on information regarding behavior of the vehicle body, and a target SOC setting section 22C2 for setting a target SOC in warming-up operation of the power storage device 16 in correspondence with the determination result of the operation determination section 22C1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
