PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up data collation processing and similar data retrieval processing without causing deterioration of quality by efficiently performing histogram intersection operation.SOLUTION: Bins of a query image VW histogram are rearranged in a descending order of frequency values by a first rearrangement part 12, a bin number conversion table showing what bin number the bins of the query image VW histogram are before rearrangement is generated by a bin number conversion table generation part 13A, bins of a contrast image VW histogram are rearranged by a second rearrangement part 14, a histogram intersection operation with the bins of the rearranged contrast image VW histogram is performed in order from the bin having the maximum frequency value of the rearranged query image VW histogram by a histogram intersection operation part 15A, and a score value of a histogram intersection is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
