PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify an observer of his or her approach to a real object in a real space.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is equipped with: acquiring means that acquires virtual object model data; creating means that creates a virtual object in the position of a virtual space matching a prescribed position of a real space on the basis of the virtual object model data; measurement object position acquiring means that acquires the position of an observer; distance calculating means that calculates the distance between the observer and the position of the virtual object on the basis of the position of the observer and the position of the virtual object created by the creating means; and output means that outputs information indicating that the observer is approaching the prescribed position of the real space if the distance calculated by the calculating means is smaller than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
