PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat cushion that gives rich fitting feeling and cushioning effect to a seated person, that can materialize light weight, and that has great recyclability.SOLUTION: An opening is provided on the upper face of a seat cushion pad where a seating face for a seated person is formed. Then, a plurality of independent rod-like or plate-like support mediums are prepared which are composed of synthetic resin foam having a 20 mm or greater bending deflection measured in accordance with JIS K7221-2:2006 listed method and having 2-100 N load at the time of 20 mm deviation. The support mediums are fixed to the periphery of the opening or to the seat frame, or are otherwise integrally formed with the periphery of the opening, in a manner supported at one point or a plurality of points in a direction across the edges forming the opening and oppositely facing. A structure having a shape in which the plurality of support mediums are put in order with prescribed spaces apart is made a seat cushion pad and is made to have gaps that enable the support mediums to be bent and deformed, thereby solving problems.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
