PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen oxide purification catalyst having high purification ability for nitrogen oxides and a simple and efficient production method with reduced load of waste liquid in the production of the catalyst, and further to provide a catalyst having high purification ability for nitrogen oxides without using expensive precious metals in a catalyst containing zeolite capable of purifying nitrogen oxides.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a nitrogen oxide purification catalyst in which a metal having catalyst activation ability is carried on zeolite prepared by a hydrothermal synthesis using a silicon atom raw material, an aluminum atom raw material, a phosphorus atom raw material and two or more compounds as a template.SELECTED DRAWING: None
