PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which suppresses temperature rise of a current control portion connected to a light-emitting portion having low drop voltage, while suppressing a cost.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 10 includes a voltage converting section 30, light-emitting portions 40, and current control portions 50. The plurality of light-emitting portions 40 are connected to the voltage converting section 30 in parallel with each other. The plurality of current control portions 50 are each connected to the light-emitting portion 40 in series. The light-emitting portion 40 has a first light-emitting part 44 whose drop voltage value is threshold value or more, and a second light-emitting part 46 whose drop voltage value is less than the threshold value. In a first current control part 60 connected to the first light-emitting part 44, a third direct-current voltage lower than a second direct-current voltage is applied to a terminal different from a terminal connected to the first light-emitting part 44. In a second current control part 62 connected to the second light-emitting part 46, a fourth direct-current voltage which is lower than the second direct-current voltage and higher than the third direct-current voltage is applied to a terminal different from a terminal connected to the second light-emitting part 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
