PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space of an optical static eliminator for eliminating electric charges of a photoreceptor drum in an electrophotographic type image forming device and thereby downsizing the image forming device.SOLUTION: An optical static eliminator includes an LED and a light guide. The light guide comprises: a main light guide part for receiving an emitted light from the LED to guide the received light in the longitudinal direction; a sub light guide part for irradiating a photoreceptor drum side with the light; and a connecting part for connecting both to guide the light from the main light guide part side to the sub light guide part side. The sub light guide part is thinner than the main light guide part, and the connecting part is still thinner than the sub light guide part. A reflection pattern is formed in a step part between the sub light guide part and the connecting part, and the light can be efficiently emitted from a narrow emitting surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
