摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an unknown factor causing a distribution (deviation) of a salt concentration in an electrolytic solution.SOLUTION: A flow rate of an electrolytic solution flowing inside a power generation element (120) is calculated at each position in the power generation element by using a solution flow equation. A salt concentration distribution in a direction in which the electrolytic solution flows is calculated on the basis of the flow rate at each position and a transport number of salt in the electrolytic solution. It is found out that a salt concentration distribution depends on a flow rate of an electrolytic solution; the salt concentration distribution can be grasped on the basis of the flow rate. The flow rate depends on a density of the electrolytic solution; the flow rate can be calculated from the density of the electrolytic solution. Generation of variations in a salt concentration in the power generation element causes variations in a current value depending on the salt concentration. A transport number depends on a current value. In calculating a salt concentration distribution, a current distribution based on an immediately previously calculated salt concentration distribution is calculated; a transport number corresponding to a calculated current value is used by using correspondence between the transport number and the current value. Thereby, the salt concentration distribution can be grasped while considering the current distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
