PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving fixation separability at low cost without deteriorating the productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: first acquisition means (control part 10) for acquiring paper information containing the rigidity of paper; second acquisition means (control part 10) for acquiring information on a maximum attachment amount of toner attached to paper during image formation; determination means (control part 10) for determining, on the basis of the paper information acquired by the first acquisition means and the information on the maximum attachment amount acquired by the second acquisition means, whether or not separation performance for separating paper from a fixation part is necessary to be adjusted; and adjustment means (control part 10) for, when it is determined by the determination means that the separation performance is necessary to be adjusted, adjusting the separation performance on the basis of the paper information and the information on the maximum attachment amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
