PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidification method and a solidification device of boric acid-containing waste fluid that can manufacture a solidified body excellent in solidification characteristics while improving washability of piping and equipment.SOLUTION: A solidification method and a solidification device of boric acid-containing waste fluid containing radioactive boric acid includes: a volume reduction step S100 of adding an alkali metal compound 2 and aluminum sulfate 3 to the boric acid-containing waste fluid 1 and preparing a boric acid-containing waste solid 4 by volume reduction; a mixing step S200 of mixing the boric acid-containing waste solid 4, mixing water 5, and hydraulic inorganic solidification material 6 and preparing a mixed matter; and a solidification process S300 of solidifying the mixed matter in a solidification container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
