PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a nano-emulsion, particularly, for example, an emulsion with a small mean droplet diameter of 200 nm or less, using a method which does not require high-energy stirring or specific large-scale equipment.SOLUTION: A method for forming a nano-emulsion comprises: a step of homogenizing at least one kind of fat substance, at least one kind of nonionic surfactant except for alkyl polyglucoside, at least one kind of co-surfactant, and water, at a temperature of 60 to 90°C, under a first mixing condition having a first rotational speed so as to obtain a mixture having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or less; and a step of cooling the mixture to a room temperature under a second mixing condition having a second rotational speed so as to obtain a stabilized nano-emulsion having an average particle diameter of 200 nm or less. The fat substance contains at least one kind of fatty alcohol, and the co-surfactant contains at least one of amphoteric surfactant and alkyl polyglucoside. The second rotational speed is less than the first rotational speed.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
