PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a vehicle which, even in the case where load applied to an object being caught is small, can accurately detect that the object is actually being caught.SOLUTION: A sunroof device 10 comprises a guide rail 20, a rear shoe 40, a supporting member 60, and a friction member 91. The guide rail 20 comprises a supporting surface 21, and an opposing surface 22 opposing the supporting surface 21. The rear shoe 40 is arranged between the supporting surface 21 and the opposing surface 22, comprises a first surface 41A supported by supporting surface 21 and a second surface 41B opposing the opposing surface 22, and moves along the guide rail 20. The supporting member 60 is connected to the rear shoe 40, and performs tilting operation of the movable panel of a vehicle along with the movement of the rear shoe 40.
