Embodiments provide a limiter circuit that includes a power splitter coupled with a plurality of antiparallel diode pairs. In some embodiments, the power splitter may be part of a first stage of the limiter circuit. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

a transmission line coupled between an input node and an output node; a power splitter having a first node, a second node, and a third node that is coupled to the transmission line a first antiparallel diode pair coupled between the first node and ground or a voltage source; and a second antiparallel diode pair coupled between the second node and the ground or voltage source.
