Human therapeutic treatment compositions comprise at least two of a curcumin component, a harmine component, and an isovanillin component, and preferably all three in combination. The agents are effective for the treatment of human conditions, especially human cancers.

A therapeutic composition comprising the combination of at least one curcumin component comprising curcumin and at least one harmine component comprising harmine, wherein the components of the composition are different, said at least one curcumin component being synthetically derived or derived from naturally occurring product(s) containing said at least one curcumin component which have been treated so that the at least one curcumin component is present at a level of at least about 25% by weight in the treated naturally occurring product(s), and said at least one harmine component being synthetically derived or derived from naturally occurring product(s) containing said at least one harmine component which have been treated so that the at least one harmine component is present at a level of at least about 25% by weight in the treated naturally occurring product(s).
