First reproduction control information specifying that the video stream in the high brightness range and the subtitle stream in the high brightness range are to be combined and reproduced is stored in the management area and second reproduction control information specifying that the video stream in the standard brightness range and the subtitle stream in the standard brightness range are to be combined and reproduced is stored in the extension area.
