PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of operating a retainer with low power even while using the retainer including an arm in a single-end supported beam shape.SOLUTION: While a temporary lock projection 27 of a lock arm 25 rides on a temporary lock projection 18 of a housing 10, as shown in the Fig. (a), as a single-end supported beam, the lock arm 25 is displaced in such a manner that a free end 25B is turned towards the outside in a width direction y, and bent. In the process of pushing a retainer 20 in and moving it from a temporary lock position to a final lock position, as shown in the Fig. (c), a final lock projection 26 of the retainer 20 rides on a final lock projection 17 of the housing 10. At such a time, the final lock projection 26 receives a load towards the outside in the width direction y. Therefore, a both-end supported beam structure 28 receives a concentrated load at a position of the final lock projection 26 and elastic bending that defines the position as maximum displacement occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
