PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector drive unit which is improved in a degree of a design freedom at an injection time when the injection times approximate each other between different cylinders.SOLUTION: In an injection drive unit 1 for supplying drive power to injectors 11 to 14 which inject fuel to respective cylinders of an internal combustion engine, a plurality of the cylinders are divided into a plurality of groups having a first cylinder group and a second cylinder group. The injection drive unit comprises: a boosting circuit 20; a first capacitor 31 which accumulates power supplied to the injectors 11, 12 of the first cylinder group; a second capacitor 32 which accumulates power supplied to the injectors 13, 14 of the second cylinder group; switch elements 51, 52 which selectively supply an output of the boosting circuit to the first or second capacitor; and control means 90 which switches the switch elements so that the output of the boosting circuit is preferentially supplied to the capacitor at a side at which a period by a fuel injection start which is scheduled next is short when charge amounts of the first capacitor and the second capacitor are not larger than a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
