PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an even slurry coating on a base material surface over an entire length of a base material, and suppress generation of an appearance defect on the slurry coating on the base material surface.SOLUTION: A slurry coating device includes a slurry supply part, a slurry coating part, and a slurry adhesion amount adjustment part. The slurry supply part supplies the slurry to a surface of a travelling base material. The slurry coating part presses a first roll body to slurry on the base material surface and coats the base material surface with the slurry, and an adhesion amount of the slurry is adjusted so that a thickness of the slurry on the base material surface becomes one time or more and twice or less of a target thickness. The slurry adhesion amount adjustment part presses a second roll body arranged on a downstream side of the base material in a travel direction than the first roll body to the slurry on the base material surface, and adjusts the adhesion amount of the slurry so that the thickness of the slurry on the base material surface becomes a target thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
