PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribe device that can detect which direction a blade edge is pointed to and determine whether the direction of the blade edge coincides with a direction of a scheduled scribe line.SOLUTION: A scribe device comprises a holder that holds rotatably a blade edge. The holder has: detecting means that can rotate at a predetermined angle around a shaft perpendicular to a surface of a substrate and detects which direction the blade edge is pointed to; and collating means that collates the direction of the blade edge detected by the detecting means with a direction of the scheduled scribe line, which when the direction of the blade edge does not coincide with the direction of the scheduled scribe line, notifies that the direction of the blade edge is not normal and prohibits scribing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
