PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a process control related to taking-up much more than convention by effectively avoiding the generation of defects.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a coating film that enables the manufacture of a coating film 1 while transporting a base material 2 by being drawn out of a roll 11 includes a coating step 12 for an effective coating face for coating an effective coating face of the base material 2 with a coating liquid, a coating step 12 for a knurling coating part for coating with a coating liquid at a part outside separated from the effective coating face in the width direction, a coating step 12 for the effective coating face, and a step 13 for drying and hardening the coating liquid in the coating step 12 for a knurling coating part, where the coating step 12 for a knurling coating part enables coating with a coating liquid so that the film thickness after hardening may be thicker than the film thickness with the film thickness by the coating liquid of the effective coating face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
