PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication composition for hot tube-making that exhibits excellent lubricity during elongation rolling and bar stripping.SOLUTION: The lubrication composition for hot tube-making according to the present embodiment contains a mica, a graphite, a boric acid and a water, and having an F1 defined by equation (1) of 30 to 80 mass%, and an F2 defined by equation (2) of 40 to 60%. F1=[mica]/([mica]+[graphite]) (1). F2=[boric acid]/([mica]+[graphite]+[boric acid]) (2). Here, to [mica] in equation (1) and/or equation (2), a content (mass%) of mica in the lubrication composition is assigned. To [graphite], a content (mass%) of graphite in the lubrication composition is assigned.
