The resolution of measurement using OCT decreases when there is dispersion in an object of measurement or a nearby optical system. In the present invention, a first spectral interference fringe intensity is acquired without introduction of a phase difference between measurement light and reference light, a second spectral interference fringe intensity is subsequently acquired with the introduction of a phase difference of π, necessary calculation is carried out on the basis of the intensities, and tomographic information having a resolution that is not reduced by dispersion is acquired. Alternatively, necessary calculation is carried out on the basis of the spectral interference fringe intensities of two sidebands shifted by ω' from the central frequency of the light irradiated from the light source, which are generated from the spectral interference intensity of the measurement light and reference light, and tomographic information having a resolution that is not reduced by dispersion is acquired. |
