A waterproof connector is provided with a housing (10) formed of an insulating resin, and one or more conductive members (20, 30) integrally formed with the housing (10). The conductive members (20, 30) include: connector connection sections (21, 31) exposed from the housing (10) and connected to an opposite-side connector; substrate connection sections (22, 32) exposed from the housing (10) and connected to a substrate; and fixed sections (23, 33) connecting the connector connection sections (21, 31) with the substrate connection sections (22, 32) and embedded in the housing (10). Waterproof-shaped sections (24, 34), for blocking the intrusion of water along the interface surfaces between the fixed sections (23, 33) and the housing (10), are formed on the surfaces of the fixed sections (23, 33). The waterproof-shaped sections (24, 34) include: a protrusion (25) protruding from the surfaces of the fixed sections (23, 33) toward the outside of the fixed sections (23, 33); and a groove (26) adjacent to the protrusion (25) and recessed from the surfaces of the fixed sections (23, 33) toward the inside of the fixed sections (23, 33). The top section of the protrusion (25) and the bottom section of the groove (26) adjacent to the protrusion (25) are connected to each other through a barrier wall surface (27) which is inclined or perpendicular to the surfaces of the fixed sections (23, 33). |
