A method using marine product leftovers to extract taurine, the raw material being the marine product leftovers, the method being formed of impurity removal, washing, pulping, filtration, acid precipitation, alkaline precipitation, decolouration, crystallisation, washing and drying. The acid precipitation is using hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH value of a filtrate to be 3-4, and standing for 10-30 minutes. The alkaline precipitation is using sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH value of the filtrate to be 9-10, and standing for 10-30 minutes. The crystallisation is cooling the filtrate to 2-4oC, and maintaining the temperature and standing for 10-30 hours. The drying is using a dryer to dry at 40-60oC. Via the present invention, equipment investment is small, production costs are low, environmental pollution is light, and the obtained product has a high purity and good quality. |
