A vehicle control system comprises: a communication antenna (15) that has a communication range for both a vehicle inside and a vehicle outside; a first communication device (12) that uses the communication antenna to communicate with a mobile device (3) in a first communication mode; vehicle-outside detection devices (21, 22) each of which detects an instruction of a user on the vehicle outside; a vehicle-inside detection device (23) that detects an instruction of a user on the vehicle inside; an authentication determination device (11, S130) that determines whether an authentication has been established for the mobile device; and an output device (11, S145, S155, S160) that, if it is determined that the authentication has been established and any instruction of the user is detected by either one of the vehicle-outside detection devices or the vehicle-inside detection device, performs an output in accordance with the detected instruction. |
