The present invention suggests an apparatus and a method for updating modules in a vehicle device based on information on an address of a target to be updated. According to the present invention, the apparatus for updating the vehicle device having the multiple modules comprises: an update information creating module which creates update information; at least one function module which performs a specific function and updates itself if the update information is received; and an update target determining module which is embedded in one vehicle device together with the function module, determines whether itself and the function module are targets to be updated based on the information on the address of the target to be updated which is contained in the update information, updates itself if itself is determined as being the target to be updated, and transmits the update information to the function module if the function module is determined as the target to be updated. |
