PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint structure capable of easily and surely connecting a vinyl chloride pipe with a polyethylene pipe.SOLUTION: Retaining means 11 on a vinyl chloride pipe side comprises: a back-up ring 12 inserted into a clearance [M2] between a vinyl chloride pipe 3 and a joint body 2; a seal member 15 on a vinyl chloride pipe side; a push-in means 16 on a vinyl chloride pipe side for pushing in the seal member 15 on the vinyl chloride pipe into the joint body 2; and a sleeve pipe 17 fixed on a pipe end of the vinyl chloride pipe 3. Retaining means 4 on a polyethylene pipe side comprises: a seal member 6 on a polyethylene pipe side inserted into a clearance [M1] between the polyethylene pipe 1 and the joint body 2; a retaining member 5 on the polyethylene pipe side having a teeth part 5b formed on an outer peripheral surface inserted into the end part of the polyethylene pipe 1; and pushing-in means 5 on the polyethylene pipe side for pushing in the seal member 6 on the polyethylene pipe side into the joint body 2, reducing a diameter of the polyethylene pipe 1 and making the teeth part 5b bite into the polyethylene pipe 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
