PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver of digital signals.SOLUTION: A receiver 90 of the present invention includes: an adaptive equalization unit 94 having a preliminary equalization section 95 that performs equalization processing by using reverse characteristics of transmission path distortion occurring in a transmission path, and a subsequent stage equalization section 96 that performs equalization processing in a subsequent stage of the preliminary equalization section 95 by performing adaptive equalization processing; and a phase error detection control unit 97 that detects an amount of phase errors in synchronous detection processing by using any one of an input signal and an output signal of the adaptive equalization unit 94 as a signal source. The subsequent stage equalization section 96 includes an adaptive equalization setting section 962 and a changeover switch 963 to be able to select any one of an output signal outputted from the preliminary equalization section 95 and an input signal inputted into the preliminary equalization section 95 on the basis of a value equivalent to received C/N. The phase error detection control unit 97 includes an equalization convergence determination section 100 and a signal selector 98 to switch the signal source when selecting any one of an input signal and an output signal of the adaptive equalization unit 94 by monitoring a convergence state of output signals of the adaptive equalization unit 94.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
