PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine breather device capable of preventing irregular increasing of inner pressure in a crank chamber caused by clogging of a blow-by gas recirculation passage.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an engine breather device in which blow-by gas 3 is recirculated to an intake passage 4 through a blow-by gas recirculation passage 2. There is provided a pressure relief passage 5. When an inner pressure of a crank chamber 6 exceeds a prescribed pressure, the inner pressure in the crank chamber 6 is released from the pressure relief passage 5. The pressure relief passage 5 is provided with a heater 7. The blow-by gas recirculation passage 2 is provided with an oil separator 8. The pressure relief passage 5 is made to be shorter than the blow-by gas recirculation passage 2 and further constituted in such a way that the blow-by gas 3 is recirculated through the pressure relief passage 5 to the intake passage 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
