PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both-end positioner and a driving monitoring method thereof capable of highly accurately positioning a workpiece by preventing damaging of an internal cable, a frame, or the workpiece when a pair of lifting frames is driven to be lifted.SOLUTION: Both-end positioner 100 supports a workpiece W between a first member 13 and a second member 15 erected on a base. The first member and the second member respectively include lifting mechanisms 33 and 45, servo motors 29, 31, and position detection parts 43 and 55. The both-end positioner 100 further includes a lifting driving monitoring part for stopping each servo motor when a difference between a real position detected by the position detection part of the first member and a real position detected by the position detection part of the second member is larger than a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
