PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, an imaging system, an image processing method and a program that can obtain an image suitable for user's browsing according to the setup orientation of an imaging unit.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 has an imaging unit for picking up an image, a detector for detecting the tilt of the imaging unit with respect to the vertical direction V of an actual space, and an image processor for performing image processing on an image picked up by the imaging unit. The image processor has a selection part and a conversion part. On the basis of the tilt detected by the detector, the selection part selects a projection face from plural kinds of projection faces 101, 102 which are virtual faces set in the actual space and different in shape from each other. The conversion unit converts an image picked up by the imaging unit so that the image picked up by the imaging unit is mapped on the projection face selected by the selection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
