PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a pouch container and a pouch container, which can prevent outer end edges of protruding seal parts from coming into contact with a hand of a purchaser directly, and in which a touch feeling is improved by facilitating surface-contact of the seal parts.SOLUTION: A packaging material A1 for a pouch container comprises: an exterior film 1A as a main film; an exterior film 1B as a sub film; side seal parts 42 formed by joining end parts 11A and end parts 11B of the exterior film 1A and the exterior film 1B; and an accommodation space 5 defined by inner end edges 42a of the side seal parts 42. By providing reinforcement members 6, which are joined to the exterior film 1A so as to overlap with at least portions of the side seal parts 42 and the accommodation space 5 over the inner end edges 42a of the side seal parts 42, outer end edges of the side seal parts 42 tend to be located on the exterior film 1B side when a content is loaded in the accommodation space 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
