NODES AND METHODS FOR ALLOCATING REFERENCE SIGNAL PARAMETERS TO USER EQUIPMENTS

Embodiments described relate to a Resource Partitioning Node (RPN) associated with scheduling nodes and a method performed by the RPN for allocating reference demodulation reference signal (DMRS) parameters to user equipments (UE). The method comprises assigning a first partition of at least one type of DMRS parameters to the at least one UE of the first scheduling node and a second partition of the same type of DMRS parameters to the at least one UE of the second scheduling node, and signaling, to the first and the second scheduling node, the respective partition of the at least one type of DMRS parameter to be used by the respective at least one UE. A scheduling node and a method thereof are also described.

A method performed by a Resource Partitioning Node, RPN, associated with at least a first and a second scheduling node for allocating Demodulation Reference Signal, DMRS, parameters to at least one User Equipment, UE, of the first scheduling node and to at least one UE of the second scheduling node, the method comprising:
assigning a first partition of at least one type of DMRS parameters to the at least one UE of the first scheduling node and a second partition of the same type of DMRS parameters to the at least one UE of the second scheduling node; and signaling, to the first and the second scheduling node, the respective partition of the at least one type of DMRS parameter to be used by the respective at least one UE.
