The present invention relates to a cable cover interlock device for gas insulated switchgear. The cable cover interlock device includes: a latch rotating at a certain angle in accordance with the rotation of a handle; a handle insertion preventing plate opening and closing a handle insertion hole; a first wire having tension generated by being pulled in accordance with the rotation of the latch; a cable cover confining means comprising a rotation plate rotating through the tension generated in the first wire and a fitting hole; a second wire of which an upper part is connected to the handle insertion preventing plate; and a handle insertion adjusting means rotating the handle insertion preventing plate.
