摘要 The present invention provides a system and a method for determining the location of a tire pressure monitoring system sensor (TPMS). The system for determining the location of a TPMS comprises multiple wheel speed sensors and a TPMS receiver. The multiple wheel speed sensors are installed between an axle and wheel of a vehicle to measure the rotational speed of the wheel and transmit the measured rotational speed value of the wheel. The TPMS receiver is mounted on the wheel of the vehicle to measure the self-position using a rotation angle value based on the rotational axis of the wheel, convert the rotational speed value, which is transmitted from a plurality of TPMS sensors transmitting the measured rotation angle values and the wheel speed sensors, into the rotation angle value, calculate the difference in value between the converted rotation angle value and the rotation angle value transmitted from the TPMS sensors, and determine the positions of the TPMS sensors by using the distribution of the calculated difference value. The present invention has an advantage in determining the location of a tire using two sensors (the TPMS sensor and the wheel speed sensor) mounted on the vehicle.
