PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion conductive ceramic sintered compact maintaining prescribed ion conductivity and further having high density, a method for producing the same, and a lithium battery having a long service life and high performance by being provided with the lithium ion conductive ceramic sintered compact.SOLUTION: Provided is a lithium ion conductive ceramic sintered compact comprising Li, La, Zr, Al and O and also comprising metal oxide having a crystal structure of garnet type or the one similar to a garnet type and LiZrO, also provided is a lithium battery comprising the lithium ion conductive ceramic sintered compact, and also provided is a method for producing a lithium ion conductive ceramic sintered compact having: a blending step where the material including each component of Li, Al, M(Mdenotes an element including La) and M(Mdenotes an element including Zr) is blended so as to satisfy M/M>2/3(molar ratio) and Zr/M>2/3(molar ratio) to obtain a blended material; and a firing step where the blended material is fired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
