PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply device which is more rational in the aspects of a function and the manufacture of a cylinder block.SOLUTION: An oil supply device 1 includes cylinder block 5 having block side supporting parts 51A-51E for supporting respective journals of a crank shaft 12, bearing caps 52A-52E fixed to the block side supporting parts 51A-51E, respectively, and nozzles 29a fixed to ceiling parts of crank chambers 53A-53D for injecting oil into pistons 9, respectively. The cylinder block 5 includes a first sub gallery 65 located along one-side parts of cylinder bores 8 in the cross direction while extending in a cylinder row direction, supply oil paths 68A, 68C, 68E located at the block side supporting parts 51A, 51C, 51E while branching from the first sub gallery 65 for supplying oil to bearing parts 50A, 50C, 50E, respectively, and a second sub gallery 66 located outside of the first sub gallery 65 while extending in the cylinder row direction for supplying oil to the nozzles 29a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
